Data accessed and stored
Markdown Notes Studio is an offline Markdown writing and organization app. It processes the document text and titles you enter or import, collection names, favorites, personal templates, document identifiers, modification and last-opened times, cursor positions, and workspace preferences such as text sizes, wrapping, and default editor view.
On Android, this workspace is saved automatically in the app’s private local storage so it can be restored when you reopen the app. Document contents may include personal information if you choose to put it in your notes.
The current application does not implement user accounts or send your workspace to developer-operated servers. No advertising, analytics, tracking, or remote crash-reporting SDKs were identified in the inspected source and dependencies. The app does not implement collection of location, contacts, camera, microphone, advertising identifiers, or payment information.
How data is used
The app uses your local workspace to provide editing, Markdown preview, search, collections, favorites, reusable templates, document statistics, undo and redo, import, export, and restoration of your documents and preferences. Search and document statistics are processed locally.
Import and export
When you import a document, Android’s system file picker lets you select a file. The app reads its display name and text and creates a separate copy in the local workspace. It does not need access to your entire document library.
When you export a document, the app writes its Markdown text or rendered HTML to the filename and destination you select through Android’s system picker. If you select a cloud-backed file provider, that provider may receive and store the exported file under its own privacy policy. The same applies when importing from a cloud-backed provider.
Sharing and external services
The app does not implement automatic sharing of workspace data with the developer, advertisers, or analytics providers. Its identified libraries support the user interface and local application operation.
Markdown previews do not automatically fetch remote images, and embedded HTML is displayed as text. Before opening a supported external link, the app displays its destination and asks for confirmation. Confirming can open a browser, email application, or another handler. That application or destination may process information under its own privacy policy. Links in exported HTML can also lead to external services when opened.
Android backup
The Android application enables operating-system backup. Depending on your device, Android version, settings, and backup service, local app data may be included in a backup or device transfer. Such copies are handled by the operating system and backup provider rather than an app-operated synchronization service. Consult your device settings and the relevant provider’s privacy information to manage backups.
Security
The Android workspace is stored in the app’s private storage, which benefits from Android’s application access controls. The inspected implementation does not add its own encryption to the workspace file. Device security, backups, and exported-file destinations also affect protection of your information.
No app-operated network transmission of workspace data was identified, so encryption in transit is not part of the app’s local saving process. Security for external links, file providers, and operating-system backups depends on those services. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
The app may write technical error details to local system logs when saving, loading, importing, exporting, or opening links fails. No automatic upload of those logs was identified.
Retention and deletion
Workspace information remains in local app storage until you remove it or clear the app’s data. The app provides document deletion with confirmation. Removing a collection moves its documents to an unfiled collection rather than deleting their contents. Personal templates are saved as separate copies, so deleting an original document does not necessarily remove its template copy.
To remove the entire local workspace, including saved templates and preferences, use Android’s clear-storage controls or uninstall the app. This does not necessarily remove operating-system backups, original imported files, or exported copies. Manage those separately through the relevant device settings, storage destination, or provider. Deletion from the workspace is not a guarantee of forensic erasure from device storage or backups.
For privacy questions or deletion requests, contact contact@azbruktov.online. The developer has no app-operated remote copy of your workspace to delete and cannot directly erase files on your device or copies held by your chosen providers. A separate retention period for support correspondence has not been established in the available information.
Children’s privacy
No intended age range was specified in the supplied app information. The current application does not implement age verification or a separate collection process for children. Its local processing applies to notes entered by any user. If you have a concern about a child’s personal information, contact the privacy address below.
Web preview
The inspected Web preview keeps its workspace in memory rather than using Android’s persistent storage. Its import and export controls direct users to Android. This preview behavior differs from the installed Android app’s local saving behavior.
Policy changes
This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the application or its data practices. Review the version made available with the app or its Store listing for updates.
